"For A Song"
Hey Everyone!
I wanted to share an interesting story with you...
Mrs. Walker, a widow for many years, came home from Prescott to find her house had been broken into. The thieves stole her medicine and took her car for a joy ride. She was very concerned about them coming back and finishing the job they had started, so she called 1-800-Board up, and asked if we could come out and give her an estimate to secure her home.
When I arriv
ed, she told me the story and showed me the window they had pried open.
The cost would have been our minimum charge but still a lot for a senior on a fixed income. I asked her if she had any large screws, so that I could secure the window for her. She did, and said her grandson could do the rest for her. Before I left, she played for me a song on her piano that really made me smile. I did not charge her anything for the estimate or the service, but when I got in my truck to drive away I thought to myself: “I did that job for a song.”
This really made my day. Whenever we can help out someone less fortunate than ourselves, I think we may benefit more than the person we are helping.

I work in the home health setting and have been blessed by a song from my patient as well...just wanted to say thank you and God bless you for responding to a quite lengthy desperate email that I sent to your company. Of course, I am in N.C but was hoping for a little guidance in questions regarding a claim to our insurance company. Our home burned on Dec.11th, 2008 and our lives have and never will be the same...of course we're blessed, but oh what a nightmare! Your representative called me within 5 minutes after I emailed my question and helped me more in 5 minutes than anyone has in months....he even prayed for me, what an awesome blessing....God is good Thank you so much...I know that others can see the love of God through your company...Thanks again...Ricka Grooms

| I love the interaction our company has with the many residents of Arizona (at least those unfortunate to have the need for our services) but every one of them have gone through a traumatic experience and to be thoughtful and caring to us while we work (offering water, food, songs on the piano) is just great and encourages me to perform to the best of my abilities whenever there is work to be done. It really does make it worth while in the end. Thank you Arizona and we will always be here! Sincerely, An anonymous employee of AZFW. |
