I was at a home today that was ready to be sold, when the realtor opened the door and stepped into water (See Photos). Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. participated in the 2009 AACM Trade Show this Friday. This year's theme - "Some Like it Hot!" -Anything that is related to Arizona! Tons of Associate Members participated in the event, and the AACM was able to sell more than 100 exhibitor booths! The theme for AzFW's booth was a Wild West Saloon, just like 19th century Tombstone, AZ. We've included some shots of the event below. On Friday, August 7th, 2009 - Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. held an Employee Appreciation Dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Phoenix. The company is recognizing its employees for being awarded with the Top Contractor of the Year Award, as well as the Big 50 Award. Today, Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. in partnership with 1-800 BoardUp, attended the ceremonial groundbreaking of Mesa Fire Department's newest facility at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. This amazing new facility will serve as a replacement for the older facility, in order to keep pace with the growing commerce and population in the area. AzFW & 1-800 BoardUp was on hand with the mayors of Mesa, Gilbert and Queen Creek to innaugurate the new facility. Assistant Fire Chief Dan Stubbs with Mesa Fire was also there to participate in the event. Although it was hot outside, the ceremony went smoothly. This year's Arizona Fire Chief's Association Expo was a huge success! Fire fighters from all across the state of Arizona attended this week-long event at the Renaissance Hotel in Glendale, Arizona. The trade show/expo was on Friday, July 31st - and the Presidential Banquet was that evening. The following morning was the golf tournament at Palm Valley Golf Course in Avondale, AZ. Congratulations to all the fire chiefs and personnel who won the raffle prizes at the banquet! Special thanks to Gary Hatch, Ron Dennis, Jim Ford, Scott Miller, David Bunce and everyone else who helped put this event together and make it such a big success.
