For the past 4 days, we have been in Detroit, Michigan for the Annual IMACC Conference. IMACC is the nation’s largest network of independent restoration contractors, all carefully selected based on their verified reputations as highly qualified, ethical quality leaders in the community. This year's conference is all about developing the skills and leadership strategies that deliver customer praise, adjuster and agency support, and increase sales and profitability. The mayor of Detroit stopped by to speak with the group, and the entire event was a great success. Today, Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. attended the annual Equity Residential Golf Tournament. AzFW sponsored the event and also played golf with the Equity Residential employees. Arizona Fire & Water Restoration, Inc. was the TITLE SPONSOR of the AICA's Golf Tournament at Stonecreek Golf Course on Friday. Today, there was a very large industrial fire in South Phoenix. Stu Chambers from AzFW showed up to the scene of the fire to see if anyone needed assistance, as he was in the area and saw the large plume or smoke. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters were battling this massive inferno with dozens of trucks. Winds were fierce and the blaze was fighting them back. One firefighter came up to Stu and asked for his help. Stu climbed up on the ladder truck and assisted the fire department as they battled the largest fire of 2011.....fire season has officially started! Atta Boy Stu!   read full post »
